Step 2: Comparing Loyalists and Patriots - Read Section 11.2 History Alive! America's Past and look at the transparency below.

Step 3: Researching a Prominent Colonial Figure- Complete the Preparing of the Panel Debate Handout by using the materials here and reading Sections 11.3 - 11.8 of History Alive! America's Past. (You will choose one prominent historical figure to research and hand in.
Step 4: Reading Notes on Prominent Historical Figures- Complete the Reading Notes Handout (Cut out the six figures in this Student Handout and glue them into the Reading Notes Handout). Use your readings and prior steps to complete this.
Step 5: Processing Assignment- Demonstrate what you have learned by completing the Interactive Student Notebook Processing Assignment Handout.
