1. Describe the structure of the Inca government (How did they govern or control their people?).
2. What was the name of their language and why do you think it was important to them to have an official (only one) language that all of their people spoke?
3. Describe the Inca road system and how this might have helped them rule over their subjects.
4. What resources, like crops, animals, and minerals did the Inca have and how did they use them? (List one way Inca people paid their taxes to the government.)
5. How did the Inca’s religion play a part in governing the people? (Hint: Think about the Sapa Inca (their emperor) and his relation to the gods)
