What I will do to show that you know this?: You will show what you know by labeling each physical feature in the Mapping Question sheet on the Physiographic Map of Egypt and the Near East.
Introduction:
You are going to explore the physical geography of ancient Egypt and the Near East in this lesson. Vocabulary Term: Physiographic - Physio means "physical," graphic means "written down or recorded," and feature means "a particular characteristic of the land - a lake, a mountain, a river, as desert - that is recorded on a map.
Step 1: Map Questions - Answer the Mapping Questions on a separate piece of paper using Google Earth, an atlas or the textbook.
Step 2: Helpful Maps - (Use Google Earth!)
