Current Events in Korea

Korea is in the world spotlight frequently. Even though an armistice was signed in 1953, the Korean War is not over. No peace treaty has been signed and hostilities have continued up until present day. Every day, troops face each other on the 38th parallel, ready to defend their nations, unsure of what the day might bring. Until a peace treaty has been signed and this conflict has been resolved, tensions will remail high.
